NIKA-GUARD ULTRADOUBLE is developed for excellent performance and protection of synthetic mooring lines against abrasion conditions during mooring operations. It is manufactured using a combination of High Tenacity polyester and UHMWPE webs in double-layer sleeve construction. The polyester layer of the webbing sleeve is fixed on the outer side while the UHMWPE layer protects the rope from the inside.
NIKA-GUARD ULTRADOUBLE is attached on the rope using the Velcro scratch tape and adjusted on areas where the ropes need protection from abrasion (chocks, bitts, etc.).
